We are building in Miritini near Mombasa in Kenya a community centre.
In the first project stage a centre is to be developed in which young people can meet and be educated and where scouts can meet their fellow and be trained.

In addition project stages this place should become a social centre for the community which could accommodate a nursery, doctor’s surgery, children’s playground, job training centre and a venue for local events.

Harambee Costa Kenya

is an international community project of gentle and lasting cooperation which begins with a Scout and Youth Centre community project in Miritini, Mombasa, Kenya. The project was planned and started by European and Kenyan Scouts.
The project is supported by the “World Organisation of the Scout Movement, Region Africa”, WOSM, RA, by the “International Scout and Guide Fellowship”, ISGF, and by the Scout Foundation “Fondazione Brownsea”, FB, Italy.
