Miritini belongs to the district Kilindi but is serviced by the municipal authority of Mombasa. The acting Division Officer, DO, for Miritini has his office in Changamwe which lies more near to Mombasa.

He is regularly informed by the Mombasa scouts about the project and the progress of the project. Also the European delegation visiting the DO during their stay and reporting together with the Mombasa Scouts.


The DO has direct access to the mayor of Mombasa.
