All official steps for the legal and lasting leasing of the area by the Kenya Scout Association, KSA, have been initiated 2004 by the necessary local authorities, the Physical Planning Office Mombasa, according to Kenyan Law and Order.
The necessary bulletins for the public, that this area will be given to the KSA, are issued in the official papers as required. The appeal period passed without veto or objections!
Consequently, the head of the Physical Planning Office in Mombasa, put together on the 31st January 2005 all necessary documents and sent them to the “Ministry of Lands and Settlement” in Nairobi, to issue the Letter Of Allotment for and to the KSA.
On 4th of April 2006 was finally issued the Letter of Allotment to the Kenya Scouts Association by the Government of Kenya.
With this Letter of Allotment all obstacles for investments and capital expenditures preventing the realization of the project Harambee Costa Kenya should be removed for us Europeans.
The youth and scout centre in Miritini will be entered as long-term leasing in the Land Register in Kenya. The yearly punctually payment of the necessary leasing costs is required and guarantied by the Kenya Scout Association of course
With that is guarantied that all Investments for the Youth- and Scout Centre in Miritini will be of benefit for the Youth and the Scouts of Kenya.
