With the responsible authorities in Mombasa have been discussed and decides positively the installation of a new water supply for the Youth and scout centre in Miritini. By the competent department have been calculated the required materials; The Mombasa Scouts called and arranged the quotations by the relevant companies and suppliers.
In 2006 the local authorities decided to widen the road going to the Miritini Youth and Scout Centre; so they did in 2007. Because the new water pipe would have been damaged or destroyed by widening the road we postponed the erection and installed a provisional water supply for the time beeing to insure the hygienic for the camp participants.
